The two women in our story this week had two very different experiences over the last 12 years. The woman had a continuous, tormenting flow of blood which caused physical, emotional, relational, religious, and cultural issues. The girl had just celebrated 12 years of life only to have that taken away. The hope of an approaching adult life and the despair of unchanging health issues. Two different people at the end of a 12 year saga. A life cut short and a life short on dreams of a better future.
A mystery- why do some lives seem to end before they begin, and why do some people suffer all the way to the end?
