Video: Kenwood Church 2 14 21 Elders Update

(This update from the elders was shared at our February 14, 2021, Parking Lot Service.  Dennis Fletcher, co-chairman of the elders, made the announcement.  The text can be found below the video.)

Good morning,

I want to begin by saying thank you on behalf of the elders for your prayers, love and support of our decisions and efforts to try to keep the congregation safe and of the Parking Lot Service format (even when the weather was not the most favorable).

As previously mentioned, the elders have been in prayer and discussions about continuing the Parking Lot Service. 

Although, we are encouraged by the recent decrease in cases and the potential of the vaccine we are extending the Parking Lot Service as a continued precautionary step to further evaluate items such as:

·                Impacts of loosening state restrictions

·                Vaccine distribution and effectiveness

·                Schools beginning to go back into session more days per week or full time

·                Other variants of the virus that are predicted to be coming soon.

We will continue to monitor  the situation and give another update before the end of March.
