The story of Moses continues as we read Chapter 5 for May 21, 2017. As we continue in The Story, I hope you are gaining a greater sense of the story that God is telling. The redemption of humanity is the greatest story of all. God's love for humanity and His willingness to bring us back from rebellion is remarkable.

THE STORY: Chapter 4 about Joseph (a blogpost for a sermon to be preached at Kenwood Church in Livonia, MI, on May 14, 2017)
It is so strange to not be here for our Kenwood family worship on Sundays. Paula, myself, Caleb,
and Katie (his fiancee) spent the last week with my parents in TN. I preached last Sunday at my parents church. Paula sang beautifully. My mom played the organ. My dad did the communion meditation. Caleb and Katie sat in the pews. We had it all covered.
Because we did not have a sermon last Sunday on Ch. 3 of The Story, I will give a quick review of that chapter in order to get us ready for the message of Ch. 4 "Deliverance." The Moses story is an important part of the upper story of God's redemptive work for Israel and the World.
I hope to worship with you Sunday.
